WOMEN

Is there an English-speaking association, society or club specifically for women where you live in France, but not yet listed here? If so, we’d like to hear from them. Why not ask their Chairman or a committee member to contact the British Community Committee by e-mailing us on britishinfrance@gmail.com

British and Commonwealth Women’s Association

The BCWA is open to British and Commonwealth nationals and those who are married to British or Commonwealth nationals.

It offers both cultural and social activities in and around Paris. These range from guided museum visits to group activities.

Full details can be found in the monthly newsletter or on our website.

Reminder: We meet every Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 3 pm.

The North Eastern Dordogne Womens’ Association (NEDWA)

The North Eastern Dordogne Women’s Association (NEDWA) was started in September 2009 with 26 potential members meeting for lunch in Coly. We have grown rapidly and now have eight nationalities represented in almost 100 members, all young at heart, whether 30-something or 80-something.

Membership increases as friends tell friends, reflecting the demand for a forum where women meet to exchange ideas and network on both a professional and social level. New members can always be sure of a warm welcome, good company and true friendship.

The Women's Professional Networking Group (WPNG)

The Women’s Professional Networking Group in Lyon (WPNG), is a multinational networking group of English-speaking professional women living in Lyon and its surrounding area. From September to June, we hold regular monthly meetings, during which guest speakers are invited to support WPNG members to keep abreast of topics of interest in different professional fields.

We also facilitate collaborative engagement with sister groups and organise social events and workshops to develop and enrich members’ skills and personal well-being.
